Lucas Kwan Peterson is a columnist and video producer for the Food section. Before coming to the LA Times, he wrote the New York Times’ Frugal Traveler column.

Carolina A. Miranda is a staff writer covering a wide gamut of culture, including visual art, architecture and film. Her work often looks at how art intersects with politics, gender and race.
