Live music, crafts, and community planting for Mental Health Awareness!
In 2016, Julia Hansen founded The Yellow Tulip Project to smash the stigma that surrounds mental illness and remind others it is okay to not be okay. Her Oxy Arts Initiate! project, HopeStock, brings the Oxy community together for an afternoon dedicated to normalizing the conversation around mental illness and celebrating hope through live music, conversations, and art! At FEAST Garden we will gather to make a collective art piece, listen to rotating musicians, speakers and poets and remind one another that hope and beauty is out there no matter how dark and hard times may seem. Hope truly does happen!
