In June 2025, The Industry and OXY ARTS will co-present ANIMAL [the underground]. Created by sonic artist Ash Fure, ANIMAL [the underground] reimagines opera as a sonic training ground: a visceral field of full-bodied sound that activates our animal capacity to sense. Conceived as an underground listening gym, the project will take over a cavernous concrete substructure in Los Angeles with a massive empty pool inside.
