South of Fletcher: Stories from the Bowtie

September 13 - November 4, 2018

South of Fletcher: Stories from the Bowtie is a multi-platform storytelling project by Fonografia Collective. Ruxandra Guidi and Bear Guerra have been working at the Bowtie parcel for the past year, talking to people who frequent the site, and learning more about the historic, present day, and potential uses of this unique plot of land next to the LA River. Their research unfolds through a podcast series, three public discussions, and an exhibition of photography documenting the Bowtie parcel.

South of Fletcher: Stories from the Bowtie is made possible by the Arts and Urban Experience Initiative, which is generously funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
