Coordinator of Community Programs
Rory Hayes ('21) facilitates the connections between the Center for Community Based Learning (CCBL), OXY ARTS, and the Institute for the Study of Los Angeles (ISLA) and acts as support for all of their community based programming. Rory helps the college maintain their community relationships both on campus and off campus. They are super eager to connect with local organizations and assist in their connection with Occidental College.
As a recent alum of the college, they enjoy getting to be back with the Oxy community again. Before returning to campus, they worked as an Arts Education and Programming Intern at artworxLA. Rory is an artist and art educator who loves working within their community.
